General information

How can I use Checkturio?

Our Checkturio app is available for Android and iOS and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Checkturio dashboard can be accessed via all devices with online access via the web browser.

What is Checkturio?

With Checkturio, damage to commercial vehicles can be easily recorded via an app and condition reports can be created. In a web-based dashboard, the current and historical status can be viewed at fleet or vehicle level. Checkturio thus offers an intuitive service that can be used to document the condition of the fleet.

Registration and login

Who can register with Checkturio?

Every company with a VAT ID has the option to register with Checkturio.

Can multiple employees use Checkturio?

Yes, employees can be invited to Checkturio by the administrator and can use the Checkturio service to the extent chosen by the administrator.

Can I register with Checkturio as a private person?

Checkturio's offer is not available to private individuals.

I have forgotten my login details. What can I do?

The password can be reset via “Reset password” under the login field. A new password can be defined via a link that we send to the specified email address.

I didn't receive a link to confirm my registration What can I do

It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox. The email may have been classified as spam by the mail provider, so the spam folder should be checked.
If, however, no email has been delivered, our service can be reached by email at help@checktur.io.

Using the Checkturio app

How can I record a single damage with the app?

As soon as you have accessed the vehicle via the license plate, you can record a report on an individual damage using the “Add individual damage” menu option. After selecting the position, you can take one or more photos and mark the damage on one of the photos. You can then simply select a damage category and determine how critical the damage is.

How do I generate a report on the entire vehicle condition with the app?

As soon as you have accessed the vehicle via the license plate, you can create a report on the status of a vehicle using the “Add 360° status report” menu option. The report must include at least all four corner positions before it can be saved. After selecting the position, you can take one or more photos and mark the damage on one of the photos. You can then simply select a damage category and determine how critical the damage is. This is repeated for the minimum required positions.

What features does the Checkturio app offer?

With the help of the Checkturio app, users can view the current damage to a vehicle, record an individual damage or create a report on the overall condition of the vehicle. For both types of report, photos and the existing damage (s) must be described based on damage categories. You can use the license plate to find and access vehicles. When you first create the vehicle, the app automatically recognizes the license plate via the camera, or else you store it manually.

Can I view existing damage to the vehicle in the app?

As soon as you have accessed the vehicle via the license plate, you can view the currently documented damage via the “Current damage” menu option. This allows you to get an accurate picture of the condition of the vehicle.

I accidentally re-reported the damage. What can I do

The app recognizes when there is a possible duplicate claim and informs the user accordingly. If damage that has already been documented is nevertheless recorded again, dashboard users have the option of merging damage and archiving duplicates so that damage is only documented as active once.

Using the Checkturio dashboard

Why do I have to register my vehicles?

Vehicles must be registered with Checkturio, as they can only then be checked for damage via the app. If a vehicle is not registered, it cannot be accessed via the app (neither with the help of automatic photo recognition nor by manually entering the license plate).

How can I register vehicles?

The dashboard takes you to fleet management, where you can add multiple vehicles either via CSV upload or direct entry into a field. A template is provided for the CSV upload. The tool shows when duplicates or incorrect records have been entered. Individual vehicles can also be easily entered into the system via manual input. Here, too, we check for duplicates and incorrect data records.

How can I see the damage to a vehicle?

The vehicle and damage overview allows you to easily access the vehicle, an individual damage report or directly to the damage itself. The vehicle shows an overview of existing reports and documented damage. If you get to the report, all damage documented in the report can be retrieved. In the case of the damage itself, the exact description of the damage can be retrieved.

Will I be notified of new reports or damage status changes?

In the notification center, we provide information about all new reports and damage status changes, as well as about vehicles that have not been checked for a long time. It is also possible to receive notifications via email. This can be set in the notification center.

What features does the dashboard offer me?

The dashboard provides an overview of the current status of the vehicles. Over time and compared to historical data, it shows how many damages have been recorded, how many reports have been written and how much damage has been repaired.
It also provides an overview of the vehicles and all recorded damage. A detailed view of individual vehicles and their report and damage history is also available.
Damages can be compared with each other and, if there are duplicates, combined or marked as repaired. We will inform you about new reports and changes in the status of damage in the notification center and via e-mail.
The dashboard therefore offers a wide range of functions for optimised management of vehicle conditions.

Can I merge damage that was reported twice?

Damages that have been recorded multiple times can be brought together via report or damage and duplicates archived. If damage was wrongly merged, a duplicate can also be reactivated and the merge unconsolidated.

Can I mark damage as repaired?

Of course, damage can be marked as repaired (or in repair). This provides a better overview of the current state of a vehicle. The app also only shows damage that has not been repaired, i.e. that is currently still there. Marking is done simply by changing the status of the damage.
